Summer wedding, help pick accent to go with navy?
I am getting married July 21, 2012. I am firm that I want navy blue bridesmaids dresses- they look good on everyone and all the girls' love the color. I'm just so torn on what the accents I want.
I see pictures of weddings with navy bridesmaids with bright yellow roses, dahlias, hydrangeas and lillies, and it just pops. It is so beautiful and bright and totally summer! I love it. Like this wedding: http://www.stylemepretty.com/2009/06/10/real-wedding-brad-laura-ii-2/
Then I see weddings like this: http://www.stylemepretty.com/2010/05/26/california-wedding-by-betsy-blue-photography/. I fall in love with these flowers, too! I look at those two different links and I'm so inspired to plan my wedding BOTH ways! I can't pick a style!
Our wedding is at 2:30 PM and then reception at 5 PM in a hotel ballroom. Any thoughts? My groom said he doesn't care, LOL. What do you think is nicer to go off? [Note; I wouldn't replicate either wedding. They're inspiration color schemes.]
I think that white is the best contrasting accent to go with navy, but I would pick the yellow if these are your two choices you've come down too. C:
