Wedding Photography Order Form

December 29th, 2009 by admin

Simple wedding photography advice?

I'm currently trying to make an order form type sheet to present at the wedding I am photographing for people to who are attending if they want to buy prints. I'm wondering if anyone has any samples I could look at?
I've looked into proofing, but then I'm spending more than I am making.

If you have to spend more than you are charging to make proofs, you aren't charging enough. Perhaps this is because you really have NO IDEA at all what you are doing. If you can't finance what you need to do the job, then don't do it. Probably have a rebel with a kit lens too. Do you even own a flash (not the built in one?)

It is way TACKY to use someone's wedding as a place to sell the prints. BAD FORM and trust me honey, the bride will be p*ssed off about it.

You post the prints, give ppl the website address and have them contact you AFTER the wedding. I hate shooting weddings, but on the very few I've done, I could not imagine selling pictures when I'm supposed to be shooting them. There is no time - you need to be doing the work, not selling pictures you may or may not have.

Do the bride a huge favor: tell her to hire an experienced pro.
