Help with decision process for ceremony music/photographer?
I am not putting a heavy emphasis on photography for my wedding. I have set up a craig's list ad looking for a photographer who is looking to build a portfolio and can cut me a deal. I've had many responses, but how do I decide who to talk to more and what questions should i be asking? Also, I live 3 hours from where the wedding will be.... Is it absolutely necessary to meet with them before making a decision?
Second, I also set up a similar ad for a guitar player for the ceremony. Should I hear them play in person, or do you think the myspace samples I'm getting should be enough to make my decision?
Thanks!
Here is a website that has a list of questions to ask a wedding photographer:

You don't have to meet them in person, but sometimes it's a good idea so you can have an idea of their personality, etc. You don't want someone you are uncomfortable with taking your pictures.
Here are some questions for the musician as well:

Hope all of this helps! Good luck
