I'm looking for a good, affordable wedding photographer in Kansas City?
I am trying to find a wedding photographer for my June wedding. We have lost THREE so far (two were friends who own photography businesses; one took the money and ran across the country, one flaked out on scheduling even one meeting--great friends, eh?--and the other had a scheduling conflict), and we're getting desperate.
We don't have a whole lot of money (about $1500 tops, and that's a stretch), but we want someone who is good and loves what they do. We are hoping for a photo-journalistic style. Any recommendations?
Thanks for the suggestion, but I have been checking websites, and most photographers who can afford to advertise on the sites are out of our price range.

Have you thought about contacting the Kansas City Art Institute and seeing if there are student artists available?
