Is it worth to sell my full frame camera to...?

My currently photography gear is Nikon D700, MB-D10, Tokina 12-24mm f/4, SB-600. The thing is, recently, my laptop has just been stoled by 'Mr farking nice guy. I don't have any other pc or source to upload the pictures. Or else, i only have to go to cyber cafe or asking for a help from my friends. I just bought this gear. Since i upgraded it from DX DSLR. I'm thinking to sell D700+MB-D10 and get MacBookPro 13Inch' and perhaps Nikon D80 or D90. Please help me guys. I'm dilemma. Btw. I'm not a professional photographer. I'm still in secondary school. I'm newbie in photograph.

I have a wedding job in next 2 weeks from now. While on the early next year, I have a 3 wedding jobs to be done.

My question is;

Is it worth to sell my FULL FRAME CAMERA and downgrade it to DX body like D80/D90 and get the MacBookPro 13 inch'? What will you do if you were me?

I would buy a normal computer with a normal screen. But then again I would have had the normal cameras as well. So $400 for a walmart laptop. It will be a little rough but it's not a devastating $1800 for a mac book pro.

If I were your business adviser I would scold you for putting in more capital than, apparently, you can get a return on. Or at least not quick enough to help if it gets stolen. Maybe put it on credit and pay it off ON TIME with the payments you receive from doing the weddings. If you get $2000, $800 from each wedding goes to pay off the computer. Just write it off as losses. My question is if you are not a professional way did you think you needed all that expensive gear?

Just cut your losses and chalk it up to a learning experience. You can't sell your camera, that is your livelihood. Logistically I would not recommend doing a wedding with a brand new system, 2 days old. Here's a few words of wisdom from a wise old fart, the moment you think no one is going to steal your laptop is the moment someone steals your laptop. Friends and parties come and go, what you did in the world stays forever. and when I'm working a public event, my colleagues and I play a game, "point out the jerk with too much money." It's a game where we try to find the rich old man, taking pictures with a D3, 600 2.8 from his seat! Get out of your seat and get the same shot with a 25mm. Knowledge is power, ignorance is money.
