I'm looking for a webcam which is compatible between a mac g4 with OS X and a sony windows XP PC.?
I want to video conference between UK & NZ and need to make sure I buy the right equipment. Any advice? I've heard that a logitech camera is good and that the site ivisits works well. Any experience of this? I've never done any of this before.

Cameras For the Mac:
An is your best choice for a mac.There are some USB cameras work that will work with non-supported drivers packages found on sourceforge (see link below), but this requires a little more work to setup.
Cameras For the PC:
-The Creative Live! Cam Voice is a great option if you don't want to talk with a headset on.
-The Logitech 5000 is a good quality, less expensive camera (Can be found for ~$40 sometimes)
-With budget cameras you generally "get what you pay for". In most cases you will not be able to send a high quality video image with them.
