Do you know a good online shop in Taiwan that delivers to a Taipei hotel?
I am travelling to in Taiwan in late August on a business trip. Of course there will be no or little spare time, hence I would like to do the shopping in advance and get the goods delivered to my hotel. I have done that with success severely times visiting the US and UK, mainly using Amazon, as they accept credit card from abroad shipping to another address than billing address.
I am mainly interested in outdoor gear, photography equipment and electronics.
And yes, if it is English it would be an advantage.Thanks for your input!
The shops may be translatable by Google, then the big question is whether they will accept my foreign credit card?
There're a lot of online shopping websites in Taiwan. however, none of them provide English version. Since most of stores and shopping mall run the business till 9:30 or 10 at night everyday. I think you can just go shopping on sites.
Regarding the photography equipment and electronics, there're two places you can go:
1.K Mall and Nova in Taipei Train Station area.
These two malls are next to a department store. Take the metro, Blu eLine, and get off at "Taipei
Train Station". It takes another 5 minutes to reach the malls.
2.Huang Hua Mall
Take the Blue Line and get off at "ChungHsiao Hsinsen". It also takes another 5 minutes by walk
to the mall.
As for the outdoor gear, I'll suggest you just to to HsinYi District which 5 department stores and shopping malls are located in. Take Blue Line and get off at "City Hall". Head for Taipei 101 by walk and you'll find all of them.
