Packing an SLR Camera for Europe Semester?
I own a "pacsafe venturesafe" backpack, and I want a small compartment within my pack to safely store my Canon T1i, 18-55 mm lens, 55-250 mm lens, and a cord and charger. I cannot pick between these 2 bag inserts:

Both have recieved good reviews. and equipment will fit in both bags. Although, the "Compact II" bag will be a bit tight. I plan to travel alot in Europe with this backpack, so I want the one that will be best suited for a 5 month trip in Europe.
It looks like the Compact II is your best bet (and it is much cheaper than the other one!). Since you will be traveling with a backpack, you won't be needing the many extra compartments in the ONA "The Roma Camera Insert and Bag Organizer"!
On the other hand, if you would want to sometimes leave the backpack behind, and just roam around with your camera bag, I would go with the more expensive option! During my trip, I had something very similar to Compact II and I was missing the extra space, and I often really felt like leaving the heavy backpack in the car.
Good Luck and have a great time in Europe!
