Website Building Help!?
Right now I am using a free website when you point and click to make your own website. It doesn't work very well and having to put those on business cards for a new & growing business isn't as professional.
So, I am looking at getting my own domain name and need to know what I all ACTUALLY NEED and what is just the extra crap they try to sell you. I was looking at getting the domain name through godaddy.com, but they also offer hosting, email, site builders and more. I have a template saved to my pc for a photography website that I like. Can I use that?
I've been told that I not only need the domain name but a place to host it. Information about what to look for and what is good pricing would be great. I'm a novice at the website building, but due to the fact that the business is newer and I can't afford to spend a fortune....hiring someone to build it for me isn't quite an option right now.
So, as much information as someone would have....the better! I appreciate the help!
