My boyfriend wants to become a fashion photographer..?

So my boyfriend is really into photography, and just recently joined his friend on his website where they look for import models, and take photos of them, and cars, as well as regular portrait photography and the works. I've been really insecure about the idea because all I can imagine when he talks about doing anything with this friend of his, is the two of them photographing some girl half naked (which wouldn't always be the case). He says my perception of what he and his friend does is nothing like the reality of it. Yes, girls may be half naked, but it's a professional setting, and he's only doing it for the money and for the experience that will help him with his portfolio. I want to understand, but everytime he mentions doing anything with the website, I get insecure and jealous. Should I be able to trust him to be a professional photographer and if so, how do I get over my insecurities? Or do I have any right to be somewhat insecure with him being around models?

I am a photographer and had very similar issues with my then girlfriend and now wife. If your Boyfriend is anything like me this is a profession and should be treated as such. The money is a great incentive to do a good job, and most of the girls that I deal with have handlers that are there during the shoot, also these girls should have agents that will pass on work in the future ( if you handle yourself well)
My advise is to sit in on a shoot, and assist. Maybe you will see that there really is an art to this.
Because if you don't trust your boyfriend then you guys are doomed
