Suggestions on "product photography" books or other tips?
I am looking for information for an ABSOLUTE beginner on product photography to develop a direct mail print catalog. Preferably book recommendations on the topic and/or tips from professionals on lighting, tools/props needed.
Thanks in advance!
Flat shadowless lighting against a white background is usually best for products shots for catalogues. This makes it easy to select objects when you come to compile the images for a catalogue.
The easiest way to achieve this is with a 'Light Tent' available cheaply, such as these.
