What camera is best for Fashion Photography?
There are a variety of substantially adequate cameras I could use; however, I am not absolutely sure of which brand and such is best.
I have had my eye on the Nikon D80 for quite some time. Nikons have always sparked a professional interest in me. There are Canons, which I've heard are good brands?
Also, if you have a reliable source to purchase a cheap brand camera, let me know.
Keep in mind that I am an Aspiring Fashion Photographer and spending $7,000 on an excellent camera isn't something I am interested in doing yet.
I just need a very good camera that is beneficial to my level.
I also need this camera in attendance to the Art Institute in Houston.

$7,000? Most fashion photographers are using setups a lot closer to $70,000 than $7,000.
If you are going to the AI in Houston, I would stick with Canon or Nikon. Most AI campuses have a rental house that you can borrow Canon or Nikon equipment from. If you go with a brand like Sony or Pentax, you won't be able to borrow lenses from the AI for them.
Also, please keep this in mind. If you can't afford $10,000 on camera equipment, you shouldn't be studying photography at the Art Institute. When you graduate, you will need between $50,000 and $100,000 in the bank to start your photography business. If you don't have the finances to start your own business after graduation, you shouldn't be pursuing a career in photography
