PHOTOGRAPHY LIGHTING FOR A WEDDING WITH DIM LIGHT?
I take photographs for a hobby, im not a professional. but ive been asked to take pics for a wedding, the location is inside and will be late evening, im worried that lighting will be an issue. What can i use...ive searched online, and see how umbrellas, off flash, reflectors etc. might help. Any professionals here who can advice me.. i need the equipment by saturday. so whatever i get need to order today! thanks guys
Other than using a camera like the Nikon D3s which has very low noise at high ISO's and a very fast zoom lens like the 24-70 mm f/2.8, you are going to have to invest in an external flash, flash bracket (to avoid redeye) and flash diffuser like those made by Gary Fong
Unless you have an assistant to hold the off camera flash or reflectors, you may want to leave them at home
Saturday is really not enough time to practice shooting under those conditions unless you can attend the wedding rehearsal.
I take it this was a last minute thing and you were the only person they knew with a dSLR camera.
