Would continuing education classes for photography be helpful?
My plan is to get a BFA in Photography. However, I still have many 'core' classes left at community college before I can get accepted into the program at the University. This upsets me to some degree as I want to do more than practice and read tutorials on the web. I want to learn.
The community college offers courses on digital photography, as well as photoshop, graphic design. The credits do not apply to a degree, but I feel they would allow my practice to have a purpose so that I am not learning the wrong techniques.
Good idea? or should I wait?
I don't think you read the question... or at least you didn't understand it. These are not applied towards a degree. This is just for my own enrichment so to speak. While I wait to get into the program at a university.
while you wait? Well yeah, couldn't hurt, did you have anything else in mind? If not, then take the classes.
