How do I create a website for my photography business?

I'm starting a photography business, and want to make a website showcasing my photos and also give a little information about what services I can offer. I don't know how to design a nice website or anything, so whats the best way should go about this? Would you recommend any programs? Should i use a free website subdomain type of thing, or get it professionally designed? Whatsthe best way to go about starting a photography business site?

If you are doing this as part of a business then:

1- Get a real domain name
Try not to get a quirky one ... I made that mistake.

I'd go with their premium package so you can use your own domain and not worry about bandwidth. It's a flash based website that you can custom build with a weird, drag and drop interface ... it;s fairly easy. Try their free hosting for a bit to see if you can understand how their system works.

I do website design for the government as my main job so I went with a web host and am currently putting my website together from scratch (coding it by hand as XHTML Strict 1.0 in a fancy notepad ). I pay 100$Can a YEAR for tons of bandwidth, storage and tons of email addresses (1000) and about 60$ every 2 years for my .ca domain name but that's not for everyone.

I also am designing my website for accessibility ... my site runs on BlackBerry's, android, iPhone, pc's mac's ... you name it it runs on it. Websites from WIX don;t work on smart phones (flash) and can be difficult to navigate for people with visual impairments ... that might not matter to you depending on your target audience ... it was important for me. blind people get married like normal people do and their friends and families might want pictures even if they don't.

I'd put my domain name up by the site is in shambles, I'm currently fixing it up.
