Photography Volunteering In Africa

photography volunteering in africa
In the future I want to work overseas, sorta like volunteer work... what is this called?

I've been thinking about what to do after college and I think I want to do freelance photography while working overseas whether it be planting vegetables in rural areas in Africa or working at a orphanage there, what is this kind of work called?

To work overseas, you need to have an area of expertise. For instance, if you want to plant vegetables in rural areas of Africa, you need an agricultural or botany degree (preferably a Master's) and at least a few years of work experience. If you want to work in an orphanage, you need to have a Master's in child psychology, education, child health, etc. and at least a few years of work experience. Even if you want to be a volunteer, you need an advanced degree and experience.
