I'm curious to know, where can I get an internship or do volunteer work in NYC?
-I currently reside in NYC(The Big Apple/The City that never sleeps) & I'm just curious to know, where in NYC can I land a internship for:
-Photography -Graphic Design -Filming- Acting -Art -Fashion -Retail -Journalism -Science
-Medical -History -Government Field
& where exactly can I do volunteer work, mainly looking for a chance with a big organization.
Brief details about me:
-I'm 19 years old / Skinny, Tal (6'1")l
-Haven't graduated as of yet, but am currently working on finishing.
-Have experience in Communication & Media (Advertising, Photography, Visual Presentation, Graphic Design)
-Have journalism skills

Finding an internship is a lot like finding a job -- you have to approach a lot of organizations before you find one that will "hire" you. If you see an organization you want to help, call them, ask for an appointment with the volunteer coordinator, and during the meeting, pitch your services and expertise, just as you would if you wanted them to hire you.
