How would I get a Videography/Photography job with National Geographic?

I am 22, currently working at a local Video, Photography, Marketing, and Design studio. www.airwind.com

By being an established nature and travel photogapher with published work in recognized outlets.

National Geographic can aford to hire and contract the BEST of the best photogaphers in the world. They don't need to read resumes and peruse portfolios. If you ARE one of the best of the best, they will KNOW who you are.

Your course of action will to be to get your work in established nature and travel magazines, such as AAA's member publication, "VIA," or other, similar periodicals. Another route would be to work with such a photographer, to learn the tricks of the trade and, work your way up to become one of the "elite" class of photogaphers that National Geographic seeks. In other words, get out of the local market and establish yourself on the international scene.
