Which year group receive the least written homework or assignment in high school in Australia?
Year 7-8 receive around the same amount of homework and assignment compare to Year 9-10. Year 9-10 work isn't more difficult than Year 7-8.
How about Year 11 and 12? Are there more assignments and written homework? Is the work much more difficult?
The subject I'm doing In Year 11 will be 2 Unit Maths, Economics, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Standard English, Photography and Catholic Studies.
There will definitely be more homework and assignments, but that's to be expected considering you'll be in your last two years of high school. Based on your subject choices, your assessment regime shouldn't be TOO harsh if you manage your time properly.
How hard the final years are will also depend on how well you like your chosen subjects. If you like to study them then it won't be too bad, but if you don't you'll be stuck with them for two years.
