What is the best studio photography lighting kit for portraits and headshots?
Want it to look AWESOME! I'll accept answers of all price ranges as long as it will make my pictures look phenomenal! Shooting on a Canon 7d with Canon 24-70 mm 2.8L.
I'd prefer to have 3 einstein units with strip boxes on two and a snoot or barn door on the third for background or hair light. You'll need to purchase stands and triggers for those as well
If that's out of your price range the Alien Bees AB800 would be next 3 of those with the same-2 strip boxes and a snoot or barn door setup, stands and trigger setup.
If that's out of the price range Adorama carries a line. I'd want one 620 setup with 2 lights and one 320 light setup. Preferably the "m" series that comes with battery packs so you can take them on location. But the 620A and 320A are fine for in studio.
ALL of the above need a trigger system to fire them. System of choice would be the Pocket Wizards.
