How is this photography light going to work?
So I'm a little new to photography.
How is this light going to work? Do I just plug it in/put batteries in and go? Or does it have to be attached to my camera?

These are continuous lights. That means they are 'on' when you are composing your shot, and the camera's meter will figure out the right exposure. Nothing special for you to do camera-wise.
Note, the word "professional" gets thrown around a lot in advertising. These might be decent enough for your purposes but they are not what you would find if you walked into a photo studio.
