photography lighting basics
does anyone know how to make basic artsy photography?

like, does anyone know the basics of the art of photography? like, how do i get cool angles..i want to do a close up of a bird on a wire, i have a canon digital rebel xT..how do i make everything but the subject blurry, and what should the lighting/angle be like?

also, anyother photo-taking tips would be excellent
thanks

To make the background blurry, try using the "portrait" setting on your camera, or on auto focus it can do that itself sometimes. As for lighting, if it's sunny it should be ok with just natural light. Angles....experiment some. Just try different things and see what works best for you. I took this photo on a canon S3-IS with natural light and just auto focus
