In home photography lighting kits... what should I get?
I do photography.... mainly outdoors because I love natural light.
Winters here so indoor portraits is where its at. So I've done shots with my own kids, natural light by a window but still get a lot of shadows. So I'm thinking I want to get some kind of lighting kit to use. I'm having a baby soon and of course will be doing my own portraits and want them to be perfect.
There so many options, what should I get? I really don't want to spend a fortune but I want it to do its job. My "studio" will be taking over my dinning room, haha so I don't have all the room in the world.
I have backdrops and a stand so I don't need kits that involve that stuff.

P.S. I've also seen things like the Orbis (attaches to the lens) or a soft box that hooks to your external flash.... either of those good? Could I get by with just that and natural light?
Forget kits and just use cheap manual only flashguns (£35.00 - £65.00) and radio triggers for sync. (less than £30 for a Tx, Rx pair) a couple of light stands, some light modifiers such as a soft-box or reflective umbrella or two a cheap reflector and your set.
