I want to go to a college in Pittsburg [PA] but my dad won't let me..?

There's a college over there that offers degrees that I really want and have great jobs, but my dad gave a strong "NO", as if he was SURE not letting me go. He told me to find colleges around my area like New York [I live in NJ], but i don't think none were suitable for me, and I've checked. What can I do to convince him that I need to go b/c this depends on my future and I love Illustrating and Photography so much? That old couch is so grumpy stubborn and ignorant.

Oh please. There are tons of great colleges for just about any major in the New York/New Jersey area. Go to collegeboard.com to find them.

If he's the one paying the tuition bill, unless you can swing full tuition at your "dream school" or are willing to foolishly take out a bunch of loans, then you have no choice.
