what paperwork is needed for a photography business which specialises in shooting weddings?
I recently started up a photography business shooting weddings and want to make sure I have all the correct paperwork in order. So far I have got booking confirmation forms including a letter detailing the services I provide and the order of things I plan to do IE pre-visit to venue, prep, ceremony, reception etc. I also have invoices, order forms for CDs, prints, albums etc. portrait release forms. this is where my mind draws a blank...is this all I will be needing or am I missing something?
You might want to get something drawn up to detail the wedding part a little more. How many in the bridal party, are ushers included, how many mothers and fathers on each side... one of each isn't so normal anymore. Plus you have ring bearer and flower girl... Its just to give you some idea what to expect more. Sure you're going to talk to the betrothed beforehand, but it won't hurt to have everything in one place filled out by the bride herself. It may also be good to have their names in case you do a photo memory book or album, to know the names of the people so you can at least include the bridal party and parents. Good Luck with your business.
