I'm going to Chicago this upcoming week, for 4ish days. What are things to do/see?
Hi. I'm a teenage girl (14) visiting Chicago with my parents, and older brother (although he'll be busy attending an internship interview) I currently study photography (film and digital), vintage/antique decor, fashion, and etc. I'm looking for indie/interesting art-related activities I must see in Chicago--museums and etc. Nothing too expensive would be nice. We'll be staying in the Oak Brook area/downtown Chicago and zip code 60523 so if there's anything close to where we'll be that would be nice as well. My parents enjoy visiting antique stores and thrift stores so your recommendation would be nice. Nice restaurant recommendations would help as well. Thanks in advance.
I'm looking for the quirky places of Chicago that are interesting and not necessarily famous.
For a restaurant, you should go to Uncle Bub's. It is an awesome barbeque joint (it won Naperville Ribfest, one of the largest in the world) that is located in Westmont, not too far from Oak Brook.

Besides that, I would agree with Wrigley and The Art Institute.
