Which university is right for me?
I am currently doing my general education at a local community college and keeping great grades-Mostly A's with 1 or 2 B's. I've got an internship down, and now I am looking for an organization to work with long term for some volunteer work, which I'm really excited about. Anyways,
I am looking towards majoring in photography, but I am looking to study outside of California.
I am really interested in Canada and the UK, but I'm not sure if I should chose an art school or a univeristy that offers an art program? I am also interested in the East Coast.
I'm looking for a school that's not mainly known for its parties, but has a good reputation for great professors and student living. I'm not much of a party person but I don't want to be with uppity-better-than-everyone-kids either
This is complicated for me, I am looking into transferring of course, and I need to begin applications soon. Any help or webistes/advice is much appreciated! Thanks.
Congratulations, it looks like you're off to a great start! There are tons of colleges and universities out there made up of all different shapes and sizes, so you're doing the right thing by starting your research now so when application time comes, you'll know exactly which schools you're interested in.
The internet really is your best tool. I recommend that you visit http://www.petersons.com/. Petersons’ is a comprehensive search website designed to help students select colleges based upon their preferences.

I hope this helps...Good luck!
