Academy of Art University?
I currently live in Rhode Island, and I'll be a high school Junior this year. I'm planning on majoring in photography at any art school I go to, and recently I've come across the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I ordered the information packet two weeks ago and it finally came in a few days ago. I spent all night going through it, and I simply fell in love with this school. It's all I can think about, haha, and I'd love to go there.
I was just wondering, does anyone have anything to comment on about this school? Good things, faults?
I don't really have a problem personally with moving across the country, but would it be a bad idea?
If you’re looking to major in Photography, Academy of Art University is definitely the right place for you. Their School of Photography is excellent. The curriculum, faculty, and hands-on experience provided really help you turn your passion into a successful career in photography.
The Academy also offers an online Pre-College program for high school students interested in photography. A friend of mine recently finished his degree there, and he talks about how glad he is that he majored in photography at the Academy, so I think you’d enjoy majoring in photography there too.
