Is this a good lighting kit for someone wanting to experiment a little more with studio photography at home?

I see that it's not that expensive, so that's what i like about it, because i do not have thousands to spend. Is this a good kit to start off with at least? Thank You.
10x20 is a great backdrop size. 10x13 is okay. I started with that size and wish I would've bought bigger. You should have something that big especially if you don't have any other backdrops yet. The kit is okay. I don't like continuous lighting though so that would be a problem for me. They do sell on amazon & ebay the strobe bulbs that fit in a normal light bulb housing and they are available in slaved and also cord fired. If you just have a point and shoot camera, you almost have to go with continuous lighting. If you have an slr or dslr, I would recommend strobes. They make for nice background lights when you can get a nice monolight or two and some softboxes. Best of Luck.
