What photography gear should I bring on my trip to Europe?
I am studying abroad soon and taking my first ever digital photography course and will also be doing quite a bit of traveling. I have a Nikon D60 that I plan to bring and learn to use better. But what are the essential gear/accessories that I should have? I want to travel fairly lightly...
Extra batteries, extra memory cards, tri or mono-pod (if you have the room), a voltage converter of some type (to keep your batteries charged), whatever lenses you can't live with out (a couple of zooms should cover it, like an 18-55 and a 70-200, perhaps), a few micro-fiber lens cleaners, any cables you might need to charge or download things, maybe a circular polarizer, a bag to keep them in that doesn't "scream, expensive DSLR", and a decent extra camera, point and shoot, maybe.
Lighting, always! Photoshop.....naw!
