Photography Books For Beginners?
Hello all, I'm just about to purchase a Nikon D5000 as my first digital SLR. As I'm new to photography I'll need a beginners book to get me through the basics. I've looked at Nikon D5000 For Dummies, which seems to be good. Could you please give me some ideas?
Thanks in advance
Check for books by David D. Busch and Scott Kelby-both available on Amazon.com. They write in plain English and insert a little humor in their writing.
David Busch probably has a book especially written for the Nikon D5000.
You can try eBay for specific books and "cheat sheets" too. They help and can be carried around in your pocket.
Most camera manuals are worthless.
Try Google for beginner digital photography tips-thousands of free sites.
Take a basic camera course at a nearby school.
