colors for a room?
I am 14 and I am planning on re-doing my room completely.. i have a somewhat medium sized room, its just a regular square, no weird shapes. I'm planning on getting a more contemporary look. I write a lot, so I am going to cover my entire left wall with a dry erase board so I can just write on my wall what comes to mind, put up my photography, etc.. it will be my art wall I guess 
D I want the whole theme to be black white and red..
******What colors on a wall make the room look smaller or larger?
What will painting the far back wall red and the rest white do?******
I plan on white and black bedding with a white sheer drape over my bed and white sheers as curtains.. maybe a black dresser.. and a beige rug.
the dry erase board sounds really good!! i would never have thought of that!!
at first the colour scheme was a little odd to me but after thinking about it i like that too!
generally dark colours make it smaller, bright make it larger although you do also have to have the colour combo right too!
the only advise i think you need is to try keep the black to a minimum, although that said do still make sure the black is seen through the white and red!!!
