I am trying to find a photography class outside of school in denver, co?

well I recently been thinking about what i want to do with my life. I want to be a fashion photographer/journalists at a magazine when i get older. I go to a performing arts high school. I am only a freshman so i hate time to learn, but some say photography is difficult. I already chose my electives which is art and drama, but there isn't a photography program. So can anyone help find one outside of school in Denver, Colorado. I need to know the basics.

There's a lot of info on the web, you could teach yourself. Find a local photographer and ask if you can intern, carry their bags on shoots, etc. Local photographers usually hold their own classes, which can be pricey but are worth it. Networking will get you places.
