How can I start acting -- Like in a movie - commerical or just an ad to get myself known?
I'm 15 and a freshman in highschool (will be a sophomore in september) I am obsessed with photography, acting, watching movies/tv shows due to the actors and their characters. I have no experience what so ever but preforming a couple of lines for a required theatre class. I have wanted to do acting for a while now. How can I start if I have no experience?
I am going to join theatre guild next year, and try out. I want to try doing commericals or ads and if people like what they see then wait for an agent to sign me over for a small part in like an episode in a tv show, or a small part in a movie. I live near boston, ma so i'm not really near the "acting scene" I'm going to new york next week, wanted to drop by some acting places and see the requirements etc.
What do I need to do to try out for a commercial or ad?

Look into getting a talent agent
Talent agencies get 10-15% of the money you make from the jobs they get you.
If you want to get an agent look some up on google or the phone book and go to their website if they have on.
Then see what their sumbission rules are and submit your work.( resume, cover letter, and headshots preferrly one up close one full body ) Then wait. Always inform your parents

Also, you can try to go to a acting camp to get some contacts of people in the acting bussiness
