What is the TOP STRETCHY crochet'd part of the TuTu Dresses made of? WHERE ? How?

What is the TOP STRETCHY crochet'd part of the TuTu Dresses made of?
Or WHERE do you buy these,...?? I want to make these for my daughter, and for photography props for babies and children... I see them everywhere but I cant find tutorials for HOW to make the top out of the super slinky stretchy fabric ( NOT YARN) How to make them? what are they made of? where do I get them? anyone , any help, would be greatly appreciated! THANKS in advance!

It looks to me like the top is crocheted from strips of knit fabric turned into "yarn". Here is a tutorial that turns a t-shirt into yarn. http://www.craftpassion.com/2009/05/recycle-tutorial-making-of-t-shirt-yarn.html Any fabric that is very stretchy and doesn't fray would work but cotton knits ie. t0shirt material is probably the very best. You could replace the crocheted part with a hand made tank top made of cotton knit or a lycra blend if you want it to be shiny
