Need career advice for Graphic Design, photography, or anything that doesn't require a long time in school. ?
So, I've been out of school for a couple of years and I had originally planned on studying to be a Graphic Designer but some issues came up and I dropped out after my first semester. I REALLY want to go back to college because I feel like I've gotten stupider not being in school and it's driving me mad!
I'm not entirely sure if I still want to be a Graphic Designer, it sounds fun and I did take 2 courses on it in High School. What I need help with is if I should still persue that career, or go for something that doesn't require me to be in school for very long. I really want to get a good paying job without having to go to school for a long time. I really just want to get things flowing fast after the time I wasted not being in college all this time. School is deffinatly a MUST for me.
Other than Graphic Design, I wanted to also get into Photography. I'm open to all SERIOUS suggestions, so shoot 'em at me. Doesn't have to do with either of those careers, I just need ideas.
Go with graphic design. It will be difficult at first and you may do badly the first semester (or maybe even two) especially because you been out of school for awhile, but keep at it. I had problems with classes but with a few exceptions manage to end the semester with good grades and an understanding of the material.
