TIPS/TUTORIALS for a beginner nikon d80?

just bought this new camera and to be honest i dont really know how to use its cool features. is there a website showing different ways i can use iso, macro, aperture film speed, how to focus on a object and blur out the background or the opposite, blur the object and focus the background? any photography tips for me as a new owner of a nikon d80 ?
not really on how to use the camera, but what tips and tricks can i do with the camera such as what i listed

Other than read the manual...

Read all of those front to back (top to bottom) and you'll understand your basics. Of course you may have to practice and re-read, etc. Just make sure you learn how to use a histogram... I don't care how you learn, just understand what a histogram is telling you. #1 important thing in my opinion (after getting the picture in focus, etc).
