I need some help with indoor photography lighting?
Im a photography student, im trying to work on some of my own work outside of school, but i need some help with lighting, the textbooks we read are really confusing. #1. if im shooting my subject wearing dark pants colorful red jacket sparkly glove and hat with coloring spotlights in the background how can i ensure it will look good...i want to be able to see his face too, but overall dark. #2. I want to capture people swimming in the moonlight at the lake #3. how do i create the silhouette of kids walking along the shorline at sunset??? PLEASE HELP
1. this is typical of concert photography. read your text for tips.
2. typical night photo scene. avoid motion blur from long shutter speeds by having the people be still while you take the pic
3. set exposure for the background not the people.
