Need help for Wedding Photography lens.?
Hi I own a Nikon D5000 with 18-55mm kit lens, 50mm f1.4 and 70-300mm. I wish to do a wedding photography, Could someone tell me can I go ahead for Wedding photography with the gear what I have? Also I don't have and external flash, I am planning to buy Vivitar 285hv.
PS: I am intrested in candid wedding shots.
Please guide me. Thanks in Advance.
No, you need quite a bit more gear.
You need:
- Another DSLR (what happens if your one and only camera stops working mid shoot? you get sued).
- You need much faster lenses than what you have (24-70 f2.8, 70-200 f2.8).
- You need at least 2 shoe mount flashes with a swivel head.
That's the bare minimum you need so you are looking at another 7000$
