I am just exploring night photography and I found HDR 3xp.-Can .How do you that?
I was just browsing internet about Night Photography. I am in learning process. I found many pictures outstanding and people post that it was HDR -How you do that?Thank you in advance for any tips.
Um, no, you don't need that much.
First, all you need are three or more exposures that are essentially the same shot, and Photoshop. Photoshop can automatically align them when you stack them on top of one another. Now let's assume you put the brightest exposure on top, and the darkest on the bottom. Starting with the top layer, erase the parts of the photo that are overexposed, revealing the layer below. Same thing, next layer, until you are left with the properly exposed portion of each layer showing through. Flatten and save.
You can even fake the three exposures if you shoot RAW. Open your shot in ACR, save it as a TIFF. Drag the exposure slider to underexpose most of the shot, save again as a TIFF. Repeat, overexposing. Then use the three TIFF files as if they were three exposures, and follow instructions above. You can do this with any camera that shoots RAW, no tripod required since it's the same shot.
