Where can I download software for Dave Hill type photography effects?
I would love to use LucisArt, but I dont have Photoshop, so im unable to use it, and dont even know what version of photoshop i would need to get it to work.
Are there any other programs out there that will give me the Dave Hill HDR contrast effect to my photos? I am currently using Lightroom and Photomatix......any ideas?
LucisArt and Silver Efex Pro (but you need Photoshop's luminosity blending mode for Silver Efex Pro) are the only plug-ins I've come across that provide *somewhat* of a shortcut to his look, but that's a big "somewhat".
Most of his look comes from strobe lighting, and the rest is from compositing (combining one photo with another) and selective brightening or darkening of areas within a photo.
