Photomatix Discount
Photomatix, by HDRsoft is considered the most popular and widely acclaimed software for making high dynamic range (HDR) images. While priced reasonably to begin with, getting 15% off with a Photomatix discount code makes this excellent software even more affordable.
There are several Photomatix products available for sale, but by far the most popular is Photomatix Pro. Photomatix Pro is the standalone version of the software and does everything that any of the other products can do and more.
Many photographers find that they have a better workflow if the purchase the Pro Plus Bundle. The Pro Plus Bundle contains Photomatix Pro, the Photoshop Plug-In, and for Mac users the Aperture Plug-In. I personally started out with Photomatix Light, which was in fact way too "Light" for me, and upgraded to the Pro Plus Bundle. I'm very happy with this as there are times when it is far more convenient to tone map my images in the Photoshop Plug-In. Most of the time however, the features and control provided by Photomatix Pro is more than enough for my HDR images.
Photomatix has taken my artistic photography and even some of my stock photography to an entirely new level. There have been some of my images approved for sale at sites such Shutterstock, that I'm sure would not have been approved as non-HDR shots. While the composition was sound in these images, without the drama and detail inherent in a Photomatix HDR image, they would not have been interesting enough to be sold as stock.
HDRsoft has free and fully functional trial versions of all their software which can be downloaded from their website. The trial versions do leave a watermark on the final saved images but never expire. If you decide to buy a license to Photomatix Pro, these watermarks can be run back through the software and removed.
