Call of Duty: Yes or No?

Well, for starters: I'm into photography, art, music and a bit of writing. They're hobbies, though; not life-long dreams. My friends are all into COD: MW2 and Black Ops. I've played, and it's a really fun game. I bought it on Amazon, but regretted it, because 1) I was afraid it'll interfere with the other things in my life 2) I've heard of some really unsettling stories about video game addiction. I decided to return it, but after playing it again at my friend's house, was pulled into it again. I have decided to set a strict rule for myself; on school days no gaming at all (I never really played video games that much anyway) and on the weekdays, MAXIMUM (seriously maximum here, people) 5 hours. But I'm not so sure about the game, still: play or not? Will it mess up my life (I realize that's hardly a reasonable question)? Will it interfere with my hobbies? Or will I be able to control myself?

i am a very very very active call of duty player, i own every call of duty game and i am going to tell you the about the problems you may face.

1.Addictive: Call of Duty games are highly addictive and some people (yes even adults) book up to a week off of work to play this new game coming out, once you start playing you wont be able to stop (trust me from personal experience xD) although it can get boring after continuous play it wont be long before they release another CoD game.

2.Anger: call of duty is one of thoes games that get you pissed off so easly and cause its so addictive you wont be able to stop playing and you will just end up becoming frustratedd and mad, most people turn there console off for a bit then go back online later, but if you get addicted all you can think about is levelling up and unlocking the next weapon, i broke my mw2 disc twice this year from becoming angry and i also kicked my xbox which caused it to break xD

but overall i find the series really fun, also if your on xbox there are family settings which you can set limits on how long you can play for a day before it kicks you off.

overall i say go for it, have a laugh with your friends and if you find yourself becoming angry or starting to get addicted just turn off your console and go and do something else, like photography, art, music or writing (like you listed above ^)
