How to/program to design a logo, free!!!!!?

I need to design a logo for my photography biz... something i can place on pictures (not a watermark)... i have word and publisher etc..not sure if i can use any of these.... please do not recommend a logo program that is not free... if i can't save it to my computer free don't mention it..if it is going to have demo or water mark on it when i save it don't list it pleezz..thanks!

i am not for sure if i can do this on yahoo but get adobe photo shop cs5 and use one of these serial codes
