is there a free, amateur photography contest on the internet?
my mom said i should try to submit some of my experimental boredom to a photography contest and see if i could get anything out of it. i have too much time on my hands and it sounds like something that might be fun to do over the christmas break.

i guess i should really say is there a free, amateur photography contest that you would recommend?
usually the brand of camera you have has one..I know NIKON, CANON and SONY offer them but they are done for this year. you can also type on your computer Local photography contests or State contests. and see if anything pops up..more than likely you will not get anything until 2011 in January.
