Need photography tips to shoot an event.?
I am new to photography and my company has asked me to take pictures of an event. The event will be in a conference room and it will take place in day time. There is plenty of light in the room as one side of the conference room has a lot of large windows. What exposure and lens would you use to get the best result. Do you recommend using flash?
My equipment: Canon 40D, 24-105mm F/4L, EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 and 50mm f/1.2L, 580EX flash and lightspheer (Cloud and Clear) flash diffuser and a tripod.
I would definately use a flash, regardless of the windows, the lighting in the room will not be adequate. I'd use the 50mm 1.2 and bounce the flash off the ceiling.
