I want to buy a new camera, any suggestions?

So, I'd like to buy a new camera for school. I'm going to grade nine, and there might be a photography course starting for my grade. We're not sure yet, but I need a new camera regardless. Right now I have the Kodak Easyshare C713, which is a bulkier camera. I don't want a professional camera, I'd like a digital camera that's thin enough to put in my back pocket, and that has the Macro setting, along with other settings, such as firework, sport and snow, and I'd like it to be waterproof. I'd also like to stay under $200? If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks in advance! (:

thats a very low price tag for a decent camera, however take a look at some cannons, they usually run relatively cheap yet have outstanding quality with picture effects and the setting that you desire.
heres a possible choice

i currently have a sony cybershot tx9 and love it, it has all sorts of shooting modes, magnified macro and the pictures are outstanding. there is a cheaper model around 250 that is a possability for your price range, the t99.

i dont care for nikon cameras because the image sensors are sub par, they are more known for their lenses. to me those are tho only choices in brand
