some questions about the Canon 550D?
I was looking on the canon website, and came across the Canon 550D; i looked at reviews and video's and it seems quite good, and i might but it in a couple of years; when i save up etc. (UK)
I'm 13, and i like photography a lot; and i'd like to do some like short films too.
1', Is the Canon 550D digital, or does it require film?
2', Can you make films with it?
3' What settings does it have? Like black&white, sepia, landscape, portrait etc.
4',What is f/ I've never understood what it is.
and any like other useful information.
how long can a film be, and can you pause while filming?
1) Yes digital CMOS sensor.
2) By a technicality no. It instead records digital video, at a maximum of 1080p
3) Full manual, aperture priority and shutter priority moded are available, you should be mainly using these three modes if you want to get the most from the camera, you should try to NOT use the scene modes. It has a picture style menu, for BW and toning, but you should not be using this, the proper way is to shoot RAW and convert on computer.
4) That's how we measure the amount of light that is let through by the aperture.
