Which magazine subscription should I get as a gift for an amateur photographer?
I've narrowed it down to Popular Photography, Shutterbug, Digital Photo, and Photo Techniques. This is for my father, who's really into photography and does some really good work. He is always asked to take pictures at nearly every social event he goes to. He mainly uses a modern digital camera. Anyone have any opinions on these mags or know where I can see some ratings for them?
My vote goes to Shutterbug. I've been a subscriber for years.
