correct setting for nikon4100 ? wich sd card?
1.can any one guide me how to best adjust my nikon4100 for good picture quality?
2. which image mode, white balance, exp.+/- (i dont know what is this),bss and colour option gives the best picture quality?
i like to shoot a lot and frequently come up with tolerabley
good results but this time my pics have turned up pretty bad.
3. pl also tell me if 1GB sd card is compatible on my set or not.the shopkeeper told me the maximum my set can afford is 512 mb.
4. is there any way i can change the setting of mega pixils within my camera? i mean is there any setting by which some photos require less megapixels while some ,more?
5. which camera is best for amateur, domestic,digital photography with excellent picture quality and yet not very expensive?

I have a much older Coolpix SQ and it will let me use a 512, but I think I recall using a 1GB in it at one time. Other than the two 512 cards I use on the SQ I only own 2 and 4GB cards I use on my D100 and D200 cameras.
Set your camera for Fine Image Quality and Image size 2288x1712 and you will get the best quality images. I always shoot at the highest quality because you never know when you may take a shot that you will want to make a large print for your wall.
My thought is you may want to check with your friends and see if they have a 1GB card you can put in your camera and see if it accepts it. My SQ "sees" my 2GB, but shows I only have 999 images left to shoot, but that may be because the counter only goes that high.
